David and I wait at BWI Airport for our 9 p.m. flight to London where, 12 hours later we will transfer and take a flight to Berlin. We don't look forward to the cramped all night travel but we do look forward to seeing our friends.
At the airport in Berlin, our friends Beate and Ellen greet us with yellow roses and German flags. Beate and Ellen first stayed with us in Pasadena (Maryland) as Servas travelers four years ago and now we are happy to see them again.
Now to finally sleep!
