(This is part of a 365 project during my 70th year where I write and illustrate a blog on each day's gift.)
There once was a jolly good fellow
who made his wife some giggling Jell-o—
no red, no green, no blue, no marshmallow—
just yellow, a bouncy, jouncy mellow
jiggling mound of yellow
from a fellow who loves his signora.
When a medical procedure necessitates my fasting the day before, with no solid food allowed, it’s so nice to have David to take care of my needs and help alleviate any apprehensions. Today the color of love is yellow.
My gift today is yellow Jell-o.
